Tops 2 Bottoms

From A Local

by Sasha Manuel on November 18th, 2005

IT Girl by Liza Emanuele Yea, she’s a local. I meant, the designer, okay? Uh, perhaps the model’s an Aussie, too, but I really cannot be certain. Anyway, featured in the photo are a fitted jacket paired with a ruffled asymmetrical skirt, both designed by Liza Emanuele.

“Liza believes that the creative energy in South Australia has really
helped her design her new fashion range for her funky label IT GIRL
which is now being exported overseas.” — SA Great

Good to know how much the people of South Australia appreciate one of their own. Well, I really don’t doubt the quality of the designers that they have produced over the years. Because being new here, one of the things I’ve noticed is that there are a lot of really fashionable people. Sure, there are always the fashion victims but there are the ones who are loyal to their own sense of style and I really admire that.

Style Tips:

Using the Fitted Jacket as a top is a good variation from it’s common use, right?
Wearing an asymmetrical skirt adds dimension to the outfit and you have to admit, it ends up looking a little sexier.
This combination is a cool suggestion to make your outfit a little funkier.
When shopping for a top or a bottom piece, consider style longevity so you can still wear it even if it’s out of season.
