Oh, So Skinny!
The 80’s are back! Not just that, it’s hitting the streets wave after new wave! Haha. Get it? Oh. Nevermind then.
Skinny jeans. It certainly brings back memories of Olivia Newton-John wearing it in Grease, she wears it in all black then completes the outfit with red stilletos. Classic! Oh yea, John Travolta starred in it, too.
How to wear it? My suggestions are to wear it with:
- Oversized sweaters
- Tube tops
- Tight-fitting sabrina neckline tops [Olivia Newton-John style]
- Or tops similar to the ones I featured here.
Let’s talk about shoes, well, there are only two choices in my book: stilletoes or boots, but of course you have to consider the weather like one of the styling tips I mentioned here. Feel free to consider the other tips, too.
Remember to try to visualize how you want to look like in the end. It will help you decide what combination works for you. Like what I always tell my friends and yea, even my mum, have fun and experiment, you’ll soon discover your own style!
I want to leave you with this question, though. Do you think that the Skinny Jeans are only for skinny women? Do let me know what you think!

I think that tapered jeans look fabulous on tall skinny people, when worn with a stylish flat or sexy stilletoes. In Europe bootleg jeans are a thing of the past. Which means that Americans jeans are obsolete. If you’re not tall and skinny don’t go near them!
