CATCH of the Day:
“I See Dumb People.”

It’s a rip-off from the movie, Sixth Sense, which stars Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment. It was Osment who said, “I see dead people” in a whisper. It still gives me the chills. This is one movie I wouldn’t want to see again because it scared the hell out of me! It took me months to shake it out of my system. To prove my point, I wasn’t able to sleep alone for 3 months. Yes. 3 months! I would always find a way to sleep where my sister was, either on the sofa in our living room while she worked on the PC or on her bed in her bedroom. This was back in 1999, when she was single and still living at home, only months before she got married. I was only forced to sleep in my bedroom again [with the light on, mind you!] after she got married and left for Singapore. Pretty pathetic, huh?

I’m doing fine now. I think. That’s why when I came across this shirt, I laughed. Why would you say seeing dumb people in the same way as seeing dead people? Would this experience scare you the same way? Hahaha. I know. It’s just a phrase filled with sarcasm. I reckon the idea that the shirt represents is the funny part — not the dumb people.
