Dolce & Gabbana: Denims Galore and More

I’m sure you’ve heard the name, Dolce & Gabbana, uttered somewhere by someone, once in your life. Fashionista or not. These guys are practically a household name in the Fashion Industry and their collections are always to die for. Watching show after show every fashion week is exhilirating. And I especially enjoyed watching D&G’s Spring 2006 Collection a few weeks ago over at Fashion TV.
Moving on, I found a few Dolce & Gabbana items in Denim that I totally loved so I decided to share them to you readers of Tops 2 Bottoms. Hehehe. I’m listing the items together with the rest of the non-Denim items. Check out the red metallic jacket in the topmost photo, isn’t it steaming? I’m loving it!

Denims have become a staple item when it comes to wardrobe inventory. We can list numerous items that use this fabric: jeans/pants, jackets, vests, skirts, minis, shorts, capris, etc. And there are variations on how each designer will create them and the owner, wear them. It’s fun, dynamic and will always be an all-time favorite.
Also, I’d like to note, it’s the Blue Denim, regardless of whether if it’s faded or stone-washed or the original blues, that has created a huge impression on me. I can always be certain that I’d feel safe in mixing and matching it with any top or pair of shoes that I have. Teeheehee.
Dolce & Gabbana Outfit in the photos are as follows [from top to bottom]:
D&G Metallic Jacquard and Distressed Mini D&G Striped Blouse and Denim Skirt D&G Cropped Brocade Jacket and Boot-Cut Jeans D&G Velvet Jacket, Jersey Tank and Denim Capris D&G Floral Print Bustier and Distressed Jeans D&G Denim Jacket, Top and Boot-Cut Pants
I really like the idea of owning a pair of Distressed Jeans and that Distressed Mini. I like the bustier, too! How did they come about labeling such items with the word distressed, anyway?
Hmmm.
Oh, drop it. I couldn’t be bothered.

[…] There are several well-known designers and labels in Japan such as: Issey Miyake, Kyoko Higa, Yohji Yamamoto, Beams, Journal Standard, Eddie Bauer, Takashimaya, Seibu, Parco, Muji Rushi, Rosebud, Sumikin Bussan, Itochu, etc. I’ve learned that the fashionistas in Japan are known to take several pieces from designers or labels and mix them into an outfit. They even throw in items from Dior, YSL or Dolce and Gabbana. Not everything in their wardrobe are local. Image features: […]
