ELIE TAHARI: Architect of Fashion
“Everything magical happens to me when I am in love.” With the transcendent vision of an artist, Elie Tahari is a man seduced by the truth and beauty of life. So it is no surprise that the most elegantly understated fashions of this century have evolved from the house of this impassioned designer, who believes clothing should be “quieter than the woman,” so that her true beauty can shine through.
When I came across the designs of Elie, I was entranced. The experience was astounding, almost as if it’s spiritual. I know it sounds lame but it when I did a further search on who the designer is, I discovered a man instead of a woman, who clearly is passionate about creating a vision of art in clothes, which ultimately edifies a woman.
Elie Tahari. From his humble beginnings, he rose to the Designer and Entrepreneur he now is. And he has been around for 3 decades now. He relayed his poignant story of fashion and love in his website. I loved reading it.
