Burberry Trench Capelet

I’ve always wondered how you wear a capelet. It’s very chic in my opinion.

I come from a country that hardly use outerwear such as this one since it’s a tropical country. I grew up thinking that the only things that you use are either a jacket or a jumper to shield yourself from cold or rain. You see, there are only two kinds of seasons in my country, wet or dry. The coldest I’ve ever experienced in Manila was around 22 dergrees Celsius and it was still very humid. We don’t get the nippy kind of cold. Well, if you go up in the mountains like in Baguio, Sagada or Tagaytay, they have a way colder climate. Perhaps it’s a lot more feasible to wear it there. Hehehe.

If I use the capelet in Manila, it’s going to be purely for stylish reasons and not practical ones. It is after all more of an accessory than anything, me thinks. I reckon it’s closely related to ponchos or wraps only it’s a lot more elegant looking. And I’m certain it’s part of the cape family. Hehehe.
