Marc Jacobs Collection: Double-Breasted Coat
As seen on the Marc Jacobs runway, this fabulous A-line coat is one of the most important new shapes of the season. With a rounded collar, cropped sleeves, black double-breasted buttons, and an inverted back pleat adding dramatic volume.
The coat is 80% nylon and 20% silk, which equates to 100% fantastic piece! Teeheehee. It’s a stretch matte weave coat, fully lined. It’s double-breasted with cropped sleeves, full back pleat, long slant pockets and button cuff detail.
When I look at it, it reminds me of Mary Poppins or a coat dress from the 60s. I can’t wait for the chance when I can actually wear something like it. I know winter is almost here but I won’t be around to really experience the cold. There’s no sense of me getting something like it then, eh? Hehehe.
I’d love to wear it with tall stilleto boots and that pinch gloves.
