Mom’s Day Special: Kimono Sweater and Chiffon Skirt
I love the colours and the prints. It reminds me of spring — heck, the outfit reminds me of spring.
These two items are designed by Yigal Azrouel taken from the Resort 2006 Collection. They look great together and I know there will be other fabulous outfits you can come up with when you use them separately.
The Cashmere Kimono Sweater is obviously Kimono-inspired as seen with the full sleeves and crossover V-neck plus the belt, which is detachable by the way. It’ll look great with other full skirts, minis and jeans or pants.
The Floral Chiffon Skirt has inverted pleats, which gives it a full silhouette. The floral print does limit your top options to plains but the various colours found in the design and the white background gives you numerous alternatives. It will work with camisoles, tubes and tanks. You can even use fitted jackets, scarves, shrugs or wraps to accessorize an outfit.
I just love it when women in their 40s and 50s still dress up. They’re sooo cool!
