Between the ages of 8-14, I was a tomboy [I only embraced my femininity when I had my first suitor. Ahehehe.]. I loathed [note the emphasis] wearing dresses probably because I look gawky in them. I was too skinny — with zero curves! Heh. The ironic thing was my mom forced me to wear them by not permitting me to own any pair of jeans until I reached the age of 12. I’m not exaggerating! She feared that her little girl will grow up as a boy, you see. Hahaha.
But now, it’s a different story. I absolutely love dresses not because I look less gawky — but I reckon I can carry it well. And this dress in particular is absolutely fabulous! I love that it’s pink, too. So feminine. Eeek. I’ve become way too girly, huh? Teehee.
Anyway, is it just me or do you also see it as something Mischa Barton would wear? Perhaps it’s just the model, she reminds me of her. Ah, well.
Can I have this made as a gown? You know… floor-length and all? Puh-leeez?!
