Outfit of the Week
I’ve been featuring a lot of casual outfits during the last few weeks so I thought it be great to do something a bit different but, of course, will still cater to your fashion tastebuds. This is for all you working women out there.
TOP: Marc Jacobs Wool Cashmere Turtleneck
I love that bit of detail, seemingly like a rope made out of cloth that comes from the back then passes through the armpits then ends on the shoulder or vice versa. It makes the turtleneck top a little less prudish. Another bit that I like about it is the fact that it has a 3/4 sleeve going on. It certainly ain’t your typical turtleneck if you ask me.
BOTTOM: Marc Jacobs Wool Sarong Skirt
Sarongs are a thing of beauty. I like the idea that you can now wear one off the beach! It certainly didn’t come off as awkward but the outfit is well-put together. And the plaid design works, too!
And yea, I would definitely suggest wearing pumps. I’d tell you to steer clear of blacks especially if you’re gunning for the same hues as in the image. Dark hued shoes and bags are acceptable.
This idea for an outfit should be included in your work wardrobe.
All you need to do now is throw in a handbag like the Prada small hobo bag I saw at Amazon and head over to your office looking chic and fab! I’m sure it’ll make your day a little more interesting.
