What to Wear: Indie Bar Party
Okay, so I got an invite to Alistair’s shindig [Happy Birthday, Ali!] at an up and coming Indie Bar, saGuijo, in Makati. Sweet.
But here I am, once again, staring blankly at my wardrobe, thinking of something to wear.
I was thinking that I still have the entire Saturday morning to figure it out so I decided to cruise the web for a bit to jumpstart my outfit planning. I hopped over to Julie’s and came across Coco’s Shoppe, a cozy place to shop and be eco-friendly. Cool, eh? Yea, they actually think about the environment on top of fashion.
Designers incorporate pure organic fibers, silks spun from soy or bamboo, sustainable synthetics made from wood or corn, and recycled fabrics to create new exquisite pieces. — Coco’s Shoppe
I found a few items in the shop, which I think will work as a skeleton for my intended outfit. [See image below]

For my top, I liked the Burning Torch Recycled Scarves Halter. I agree with Julie that the vintage feel it offers is a big drawing point. For my bottoms, I like the Loomstate Mantra Jeans. But I’m still torn between wearing this one or a miniskirt but — oh, well.
I always enjoy accessorising, so, I opted for the Fuschia Ananas Miko Handbag, which will hold my must haves whenever I go out and I’m thinking that I’ll just wear earrings like the Floral Fantasy Austrian Crystal Earrings - Goldtone, which I found at Amazon.
And the shoes!! Eeek. This is the part in an outfit that I like best. Hahaha. So, upon surveying the outfit that I’ve put together, I knew I’d find a Dolce to match it perfectly. And I did! I loved this pair I found at Amazon, Dolce & Gabbana Gold and Tan Snakeskin Pumps. It’s like icing on the cake!
I reckon this outfit will look extremely sexy, especially with the lights and a little body oil. I can’t wait!

I love Burning Torch and I think it’s a great concept to use recycled materials. I heard there is a sample sale on hautelook.com on monday for her line. Can’t wait!
