Fashion Forecast: Mod Coats by Gap
One of the great things about this Fall season is it gives you reason to work the coat department. I love coats and I know I’m not the only one. It’s one of the reasons why I’m quite disappointed about the humidity in my country — it simply isn’t practical to invest in real, honest-to-goodness coats!
This Mod Military Coat by Gap is a good example of the kind of coat I just may go for. It’s fabulous. Check out the Mod Hobo, too!
This season, it’s all about coats — mod-influenced coats to be exact. Teehee. Mod is also known as modernism, a subculture which originated from London that peaked in the early 60s. Individuals connected with this kind of lifestyle are majorly influenced my new fashions and music. The Mod look is essentially European, particularly British, in nature.
I reckon it’s safe to assume that fashionistas will go mad with Mod this season! Heehee.

That coat is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, it would dwarf me. *sighs*

Oh, don’t worry, Joy. They come in petite and tall sizes — I just failed to mention it in the post! My bad! :)
