Danish designer Christina Ribel launches international webstore
Christina Ribel is a contemporary Scandinavian fashion brand for the modern, fashion councious woman. Unlike many others, Christina Ribel is serious about providing fantastic basic fashion. Taking classic but unique cuts, high quality, a wide product range and excellent usability as a starting point for the collection, Christina Ribel has developed a selection of highly advanced tops. A collection for women looking for a contemporary and exciting basic wardrobe, that can be combined with many different styles and for all occasions.
To adapt the products after how the female body actually looks and behaves, has been the fundamental factor in the creation of the Christina Ribel designs. The tops are tailored after the natural shapes of the female body, with many special features that all result in a unique fit with a slightly extended and curved lower part. In this way, Christina Ribel has created a well-tailored, feminine and tight top, which at the same time considers the wish that most women have not to wear anything too tight around the abdomen.
The collection consists of 18 different tops in various shapes and colors. Short or long sleeves, collars, v-neck, turtle necks and many other varieties are available – and if you find you size, you can easily switch to another collar och sleeve, since the body shape of all tops are the same.
Another very important part of the collection is the focus on high quality. The unique Cotton/Modal/Elasthane combination creates a fabric that feels like butter when you wear it at the same time as it keeps you warm and covered. Many phases of the production are completely handmade, which gives each individual product it’s unique touch and feeling – at the same time as it creates a quality level which is hard to top. About Christina
Christina Ribel was born in 1977 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is however currently based in Stockholm, Sweden, after being somewhat of a global nomad during most of her life. She has been active in many of the big international fashion houses and her whole adult life has spanned the fashion industry. She is also an entreprenour, owning and operating stores and agencies in Scandinavia – and with her first collections bearing her own name, she is one step closer to the ambition of letting all women feel beautiful and feminine in their clothes – no matter what age they are!
