T2B Shopping: Frustration Over a Pair of Flats

There’s this flea market in BF Homes, Parañaque City, which we fondly call “Ruins” (it used to be located in a vacant lot that has remnants of a demolished building). It’s a place that has a variety of goods — from knick knacks to clothes (!!!) and shoes (!!!) — that can delight every shopper.

I’ve been on a hunt for a decent pair of flip flops cuz the two that I own suffered the same fate as my RAZR charger — I’m quite close to strangling my cute little doggie. Grrr. Kidding, of course. Heh. I bought a pair in rubber (HA!), which paved a way for me to spot a really gorgeous white v-neck extended top (I think I already told you about this). AND three pairs of utterly adorable flat suedes I’ve ever laid my eyes on!

I had not planned on buying shoes then. I tried to control my impulse and opted to come back for it some other day, to which I decided would be a Friday — last week’s Friday. Gah. I tried to get off work as early as I can that day but it’s a good hour’s worth of driving! Yea, I found the shop shut when we got there. I told myself, tomorrow’s a Saturday, so, I can still go back.

Problem, though. We had a roadtrip planned that day. We’re heading to Tagaytay. I can only stop by around two-ish in the afternoon. But, you must’ve guessed it by now, I was suffering a worse case of bad luck. The shop was still shut. Tomorrow’s a Sunday. I’ve still got time left from my weekend.

Guess again. Sighs. I woke up late in the afternoon. Fell asleep again. I had to work. And before I realised the time, the day’s gone and I still haven’t bought my shoes. Sniff. When? When? When? Arrrgggh!

The frustration. Gah.

I’ll let you know ONCE I succeed in this shopping endeavour!
