Armani Fashion Empire, For Sale?

I’m shocked. Genuinely shocked. I can’t help but ask — WHY?!
Armani is a label known for its elegance and classic style. It has grown a cult following and loyal supporters. How can the “new partner” deliver the same touch (or even bring it to the next level) on the fashion that most Armani lovers are used to?
I’m unsettled. Don’t we get a say on this? I know. I know. I don’t own it — Giorgio does (and L’Oreal, apparently). I just fear that once a new voice gets introduced (backed up with monetary stake) on the brand, the general direction of the style will be lost. The Armani look will be lost.
I’m a little bit saddened by the news, that’s all.
