Wardrobe Mix: Use bold and colourful prints, textures & shapes
With all the shopping I’ve done, one thing is quite certain in current fashion trends — the use of bold and colourful prints, textures and shapes.
Thinking about bold floral prints, psychedelic prints, vertical stripes, and all the various prints, textures and shapes that I saw on dresses available at Nordstrom, it is safe to say that it’s one of the IT styles of the season.
These design options present a colourful and statement-filled ensembles that can define or re-define your fashionista personality. I’m actually having fun in experimenting with different prints and textures nowadays — from striped and ruched fabrics to floral prints and bold shapes. I’m taking advantage that it’s summer and varied floral prints and colours are acceptable and, IMHO, quite adorable. Hehe.

Sophie: Really? That’s a thought. I wish I followed Project Runway.. :( Was it because of the print, the cut or the choice of fabric? :D

It’s still being shown @ ETC, the season wherein Jeffrey won. Uli’s famous for picking fabrics like that and making really classy, laid back dresses. :)

Sophie: Dear me. It may sound pathetic but I haven’t watched TV in a looong time! Gah. But Uli’s creations sound fab, I’ll do a bit of research on it so I’ll be on the same page and stop looking like a dimwit for not knowing what you’re talking about!
