T2B Shopping: Striped Mod Blouse from Sugaritta

As promised, here is the first installment on my reporting on the last shopping spree I did a couple of weeks ago.

I’d like to start by introducing you to a brand newbie in the local fashion scene (Manila, Philippines), sugaritta. I chanced upon their small boutique and I immediately took to liking their stuff. I was actually looking into buying their polka dot blouse with a ruffled trim but my attention was diverted to this Striped Mod Blouse. It was perfect for my plans of going for the belted look. Hehe.

Sure, it looks plain enough but apart from the striped print, I particularly liked the “roll up” sleeve and hem and the misaligned front pockets. These accents created a masculine flavour and yet once worn a certain way, it’s so chic.
