What to Wear: Speaking Engagements

I came from training a bunch of corporate people on blogging yesterday and I came home with one thought. What should have I worn to the darn thing? LOL.

I’m not your typical “stuffy” corporate slave and I’ve got this “rebellious” flair in fashion that even when I worked corporate I never looked the part. Hehe. Blame the movie, “Devil wears Prada”. It certainly captured the idea of how I want to look when I work in an office. Heh.

A dress is always the safest bet in my book. But then again, it depends on how formal the event is. This one might be an over-kill for my event, but it’s still pretty anyway. Hehe. Next time, perhaps?

If you’re wondering what I wore. Well, I knew I’d be walking a lot since the office headquarters and the mall (3rd largest in the world, last I heard) they run is quite a bit of a walk. I opted to wear brown with fuschia/purple floral embroidery suede flats, skinny jeans, white tube blouse, and brown corduroy fitted jacket. I simply accessorised it with my Pearl and pseudo-swarovski multi-strand long necklace. It worked for me. I guess it pays to be a fashion blogger, eh? ;)
