Ika Butoni @ Hong Kong Fashion Week S/S 2007
If you’re new to Tops 2 Bottoms, I’m currently showcasing collections featured in the last Hong Kong Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2007, which was organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
Next up is fashion designer Ika Butoni with her collection entitled, Let’s Twist Again.

The collection is reminiscent of the fashion in the 20s and 70s. It’s definitely a retro-creation as seen in colourful afros, headbands and flower accents. You can’t miss the flares, dyes and bold brints. It’s a really funky set. Fun!

I actually wanted to have my picture taken with Ika during the cocktails but I got shy all of a sudden. Her show was the one I loved most! It was really fun and funky!

Yea, her collection IS funky. I should imagine how entertaining it must’ve been to watch. She reminds me of Betsey Johnson probably cuz of all the colours. LOL. :D
