T2B Shopping: Vintage Silk, Ophelia

vintage silk double layered and reversible wrap garments, one of a kind fine wearable artisan made, combining colors and fabrics in a unique and exquisite original fashion design
I bought this item Tuesday morning over at SohoKarma’s shop at Esty. I was curious as to what sort of vintage stuff I’d be able to find that are hand-crafted and this is what I found. I’ve never been this adventurous when it comes to apparel but the idea of creating varied looks with the use of just one item intrigued me.
Kariza has other options you can choose from at her shop. I liked a number of the items but Ophelia stood out for me, even with the irregularity stated. I loved the shiny fabric and the prints. I love the layers, too.
I had it shipped to Atlanta where my brother is and I’ll only get to touch this adorable piece by April. Good and bad thing. I know I have to wait that long but at least it’ll be perfect for summer even with the subdued and somber colours.
Edit: It’s only $23.50 plus $6 shipping. Not bad, yeah?

That IS gorgeous. I can’t wait to see your fashion experiments with it. But I shall try :)

We’re counting a few months before I’d actually be able to “experiment” but good to know you like it. Let me know if you do end up ordering one, too! I wanna see! :)

Nice choice. I love the gold detail. I was looking at that one but I keep telling myself, “But you don’t wear pink!” LOL. I swear, I find it hard to wear pink! LOL. Anyway, I can’t wait to see a photo of you wearing it! :)

I got my order already and I love the fabric! I have to practice putting it on, though . . . it’s not as easy as it looks! :)
