Ophelia as a Dress

It’s the Vintage Silk I bought from SohoKarma last January. After wearing it as a skirt (several times, in fact), I decided to be a bit bolder and experiment on wearing it as a dress this time around. I had tried it several ways until I opted for this style.
It was hell to put on, I tell you. But let me give you a quickie on how I managed to make it work. I wrapped it around my torso, as tightly as I could, to anchor the whole thing. Then I used the shorter layer of fabric, wrapped it around the bust area seemingly like a bandeau. Just make sure the knots are tight to prevent fashion mishaps.
I love the combination of two different fabrics with different prints. It’s like my own little version of the exotic global mix. I love it!
I wore it to the Pantene Pro V Dare to Get Wet Event held last Monday, 28 April 2008 at the Poolside of Hotel Intercon in Makati City, Philippines.
