Summer Dress Love

Summer, for me, will always be a season for prints. This is not to say that you can’t wear prints on any other season. I just feel more summer-y if I wear prints during this time. For someone who’s partial to dresses, I’m always on the lookout for new styles and designs to wear. Of course, I would prefer ones with a timeless quality in them but I do love trying out trends, too.

One would think that summer is best experienced during the day, however, we do have affairs and events scheduled at night. Do we revert back to dark, sombre colours and give up the summer-esque styles? I think not. I believe we can still find a way to cater to both needs.

Summer nights can be a bit tricky in the realm of fashion. We’ve got to leave room for the warm weather without sacrificing the fun summer prints like florals.

I believe that there are summer dresses fit for night soirées. It’s quite important to bear in mind that summer nights ought to be fun and sexy, warm weather and all. I reckon it’s good to distinguishable outfits, ones relevant to summer. Know what I mean?

Anyway, two examples of summer dresses are in the photo seen above. Both are creations of local designers, Daniella De Corsie and Irene Pineda, respectively (L-R). They were worn during events that were scheduled at night.
