T2B Shopping: Daniella De Corsie Dress
Twas a Saturday when I decided to drag teh boyfriend and co. to check out a fashion-slash-photography exhibit in Quezon City. It was F*ART’s Fashionesque event featuring creations of Happy Andrada and lomography. Of course, fashion and photography combined, I was naturally curious and raring to go. Apart from my insatiable craving for more local fashion, I was curious as to what sort of event they’re able to put together.
I had wanted to bring home one of Happy’s works but twas this gorgeous dress from Daniella De Corsie which called out to me. I’ve been obsessively combing shops for a flimsy, feminine dress — was hoping to get that Kate Moss jacquard from Topshop — that’s sophisticated enough to be a dress you can wear to a night out but not too much that it’s stuffy-looking to be a summer-y dress. Know what I mean? I’m just wanting to have dresses that are perfect for summer nights.
Anyway, I love the floral print and the fabric. Details such as the braided strap, uneven hem and that deep v-cut neckline makes me think that this is one hot summer dress. I love the fact that it’s made buy a local designer. The design is very contemporary.
I’m hoping to take her out soon. I won’t forget to post a photo so you guys can get a better look on what she looks like.
