T2B Spotting: Toga on Water
Blogging about fashion for so long has my mind programmed to spot post fodders wherever I go. I guess, if you’re always on the look out for something to inspire you, style-wise, certain details from ordinary situations which people would normally dismiss, you pick up. Somehow, it excites the creative part of your brain, hence, coming up with posts and putting titles like, “Toga on Water” on them. Heh.
Anyway.
It’s summer here and we all know that it also means the whole lot of you will hit the beach one way or the other. This requires a different set of wardrobe, one with beach-worthy apparel. Am I referring to swimwear alone? Nay. Of course, we all need to cover up once in a while. Hehe. For you ladies who prefer the romantic hems that billow with the wind, shorts and short skirts are out of the picture. Of course, length is key. And if you have that extra piece of sheet — er, not necessarily the one you use for your bed — you can wrap it around your bikini-clad body, seemingly like a Toga. I reckon that’s how some wear their sarongs.
When I saw these women wearing toga-like garments over their *hopefully* gold (or was it bronze?) bikinis, I can’t help but think that it IS a good idea for cover ups or beach dresses worn for lounging. They look like nymphs, don’t you agree? Wearing white can be very sexy, IMO.
Ah, well. Twas just an idea. Heehee.
