80s Accessories

My sister and I got to talking about how these NEW accessories that I have are so like the ones she owned a decade ago (more or less). I just had to show her cuz these indeed reminded me of the ones she sported when she was young(er). She even claimed that the RayBan sunnies were the same exact old pair but, of course, I had to say that I just bought them early this year, last January to be exact.
The sunnies are so Risky Business-ish. I, however, can’t go out the door with simply a white long-sleeved dress shirt, underpants, and a pair of white socks on. No matter how the sunnies can hide my identity. I’ll leave that look to Tom Cruise. Heh.
As for the glass bracelets, my sister also had one. Twas in red, I think. I remember thinking that it’s dangerous to wear something like it cuz what if you break it? Wouldn’t you cut and hurt yourself? These bracelets were gifts from my boyfriend’s sister, P. Big thanks btw.
I haven’t really worn these babies out. Still finding the perfect timing and outfit. But right now, I’m not in the mood to dress up just yet. I will in time. I just need to pace myself.
Anyway, it’s funny how certain trends go retro, yea? I wonder when we’ll see new and original ones again.

I’m pretty sure I had bracelets like those when I was growing up too! Now I’m feeling all nostalgic and want some more!

I reckon you can buy them in accessory shops now. I’ve seen some sell these glass bracelets. :)
