Tops 2 Bottoms

More BOW Talks

by Sasha Manuel on June 15th, 2008

Yes. I’m back talking about bows. As I previously mentioned, I’m here to show you where I first noticed this trend. Various fashion designers have taken upon themselves to incorporate an ever feminine accent — BOW. There’s something about it that brings back memories of when you were a little girl. Innocence and youth. However, they’ve managed to bring it forward thus allowing those of us who aren’t exactly little girls anymore to wear them again. Not to mention, wear them in all chic-ness and style.

On the list are Nina Ricci, Lela Rose, Christian Lacroix, Bottega Veneta, Albino, Jill Sander, Lanvin and Tory Burch. Go see what their creative minds have managed to come up with.

There’s a mixture of conservatism, freshness and feminine edge. I’ve been keeping my eye on this trend for quite a while now. I love how it’s somehow evolving a bit; more angles are created. I’d love to see more of this one on the streets.
