I don’t know how long I’ve been trying to find a dress like this one. I remember putting a bid over at Irene’s Closet a few months back on one dress that somewhat resembles this one. As evident with my frustration, the deal fell through. I’m disappointed. Again. I guess that’s how I’m built. When my heart is set on something, I’ll do my best to have it. Even when it means I have to wait, fight for it, or I have to tough it out.
My frustration is well explained. Seeing this and knowing I can’t have it — the price is definitely out of my reach — breaks my heart. I know I’ll live. I have to. BUT I carry with me the hope that I will have it one day. Does this mean I’ll settle for second best? Something that resembles the dress that I want? No. I have to stay true to my taste preference. To what my heart desires. I believe that I will find the one that will fit me perfectly — both financially and aesthetically.
For now, I’m letting it go.
