Fall Fashion: Empowering Your Confidence

I know it’s been quite some time since you folks heard from me (close to a year, actually). But let me take this time to make up for lost time and share with you a couple of photos that simply took my breath away. There’s one thing that a photographer captures a model in a fabulous outfit and gorgeous setting but to create this wonderfully styled photographs — simply amazing.

For over 30 years Jones has strived to help women achieve their goals. This season, Jones New York reveals their fall campaign entitled “Empowering Your Confidence.” Shot by esteemed photographer, Annie Leibovitz, and styled by Lori Goldstein, the JNY fall campaign highlights accessible luxury for the modern, professional woman. Jessica Stam, Hilary Rhoda and Du Juan, are just some of the faces that helped to bring these striking shots to life against the iconic backdrop of Grand Central Station.

The “Empowering Your Confidence” campaign is influenced by “A Woman’s Nation”, a crucial part of the Shriver Report that highlights the growth and influence of women in the home, at work and all around the world. Jones is celebrating female empowerment, not only through fashion, but by also offering advice, tips and inspirational quotes via “The Little Black Book”, a digital collection of accomplished female professionals such as Bobbi Brown, Ariana Huffington, Ellen Gustafson, and Ivanka Trump sharing their collective wisdoms with women everywhere.

I think it captures the sophisticated style that I’ve always envisioned New York to have. I, personally, haven’t seen this fabulous city but with all the stories and photographs I’ve seen, I’ve established an impression that I’m hoping that the real thing won’t disappoint when I eventually get the opportunity to see it.

Add the fact that the fall season is, in my personal opinion, the most stylish season of all. You can expect more ramblings on what trends you can expect for this season in later posts. Believe me, it’ll be all worth it.

So, how have y’all been?
