Yea, there’s a trend on bows. I’ve already seen it used on several designs by various fashion designers. I’ll tell you more about that later. But, yea. I saw this fun dress showcased during Philippine Fashion Week sporting the bow, too. It touches on two trends actually. The other is the plaid or check print.

I’d wear something as fun as this one. I’d like to celebrate the Carrie Bradshaw style and everything that made Sex and the City a fashion and style haven.
Of course, that is if I’d ever get the chance to walk the red carpet of a premiere where what you wear matters. Otherwise, it’s quite silly […]

As far as I can remember — er, at least by the time I actually found relevance in fashion — the local Philippine fashion has always leaned towards the formal. I reckon that’s why the more famous fashion designers then were known for the gowns or “luxury wear” they make and definitely not RTW. And […]

For the rest of the world, Philippine fashion has remained in the backseat of other major fashion territories which influences and sometimes dictates what’s in style, with only a handful of fortunate names in the local design industry to make it to the big leagues, aka finding their creations (and names) acknowledged […]

Red hair pinned up and adorned with pink and white tall, fluffy feathers and a make-shift tiara. Pink and Black dress combination with knick-knacks (a variety of colour pearls in different sizes, ropes, tulle scraps, etc) for embellishments on the full wide skirt. Accessories are loud, pearl-ed and ethnic combined.
I reckon it’s a love […]

The list of designers who will be participating are long, most are new and raw while the rest are names you’ve come at across one time or another. They will be showcasing […]

I’m not done yet. I’m still gobbling up all the Italian fashion that’s showcased in the Milan Fashion Week. Today, it’s the Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear collection of Gianfranco Ferré.
Clean, soft and ultra chic. I love the fluid lines of the designs (kudos to the team behind the Gianfranco Ferré brand). I’m finding that I’m leaning […]

I have to say, I’m bawled over. I had a hard time choosing from the Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear collection of Alberta Ferretti cuz I absolutely loved each piece. Everything’s so feminine with simple lines and cuts!
I love the colours (blue, green, purple, magenta, black, grey), though dark, they were definitely not dull. I love […]

I really don’t follow Milan Fashion Week but I reckon since I’ve been looking over the runway scoop (New York and London) for the past few weeks, I might as well check them out. I chanced upon Francisco Scognamiglio and decided browse through his Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear collection.
Apart from the fact that I’ve noticed another […]
